Workshop Insights
People who typically cook at home consider it a necessity rather than a hobby. They often seek ways to expedite the process or optimize their planning to free up more time in their lives.
-
Many users struggle with meal planning and often find themselves clueless about what to prepare. This can lead to frustration and a slower cooking process. They want a solution that provides them with dish ideas based on the ingredients they have available.
-
People have busy schedules and often don't allocate enough time for cooking. This can result in poor time management and difficulty meeting meal deadlines. A tool that helps individuals plan and organize their cooking times would be highly useful.
-
Users who spend a long time cooking often become discouraged when the process is prolonged or does not yield the expected result, leading them to order takeout or cook something simpler that requires little effort.
-
Many individuals who enjoy cooking often get frustrated with the cleaning process that comes later on. This can lead to a feeling of reluctance when it comes to cooking, as they would have to clean everything up afterward. Due to this, people tend to prefer kitchen tools and appliances that are easy to clean, as it makes the process much more manageable.

Comparative & competitive analysis

-
The "Explore" feature is highly relevant, as self-taught individuals can search for articles, professional guides, or even inspiration to create new things.
-
The scheduling of meal times and their preparation can help users meet their goals.
-
We noticed lack of action with notifications to help them manage their time for meal prep and cooking.
-
The welcome tutorial is a crucial element that helps users feel at ease with the app right from the outset, which can speed up their learning process. It is also important to cater to users who may not consider themselves to be tech-savvy.
